Longrow Red 13 Year Old Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon
Longrow Red 13 Year Old, is a peated single malt which has been aged in bourbon and sherry barrels for 10 years and finished for 3 years in a red wine Cabernet Sauvignon Cask from Chile. The cask comes from the winery Mont Gras' Intriga Estate located in Alto Maipo at the foot of the Chilean Andes. This is a powerful whisky with aromas of rhubarb, stewed fruits, blackberries, ginger and custard. The palate gives way to orchard fruits, red berries with the strong quintessential smokey style of Campbeltown whiskies. Bottled at cask strength and limited to just 9000 bottles.
